Hello P.S. 217 Community!
By way of this letter, I am excited to introduce myself as the new Parent Coordinator of P.S. 217!
After several years of incredible support to the parents and school, Ute has taken a new role in the Main Office. I know I speak for all of us when I say how thrilled I am that Ute will still be a welcoming presence to our children and families in her new role as front office secretary.
As a mom to two P.S. 217 children (K and 2nd grade) and having served in the Parents Association as your Bake Sale Coordinator for the past few years, I am excited to take over new challenges and new responsibilities as the Parent Coordinator of our school. I pledge to put in all my energy and passion to serve you and your children to the best of my abilities.
Strongly believing that successful children need not only dedicated school faculty and staff but also involved and supportive parents, I look forward to hearing from you and to meeting you all this year!
