Check your house for books that you don’t read anymore. Ask your brothers, sisters, cousins, neighbors for the books they don’t read anymore…and bring them into school from 11/20/17 – 11/27/17.
It is that easy – just donate and drop off gently used children books at the following locations:
- Pre-K, K and 1st Grade parents: in Room 109, every day 8:15 – 9:00 AM and 1:00 – 2:00 PM
- Grades 2 – 5 students: in your classroom
Receive an Exchange Ticket that tells you how many “new” books you can choose later (limit 7 books for the trade).
Then visit the BOOK SWAP on November 30th, 5-7 PM in the PS 217 Cafeteria and exchange your tickets for “new” books. You must show an exchange ticket in order to get a book.
