A fun-filled day for the entire family to enjoy the festival is brought to you by Cool Culture, Brooklyn Museum and PS 1 Elementary School. This year’s theme is Our City: Celebrating Diversity. Many activities and drop in interactive programs celebrating New York – from art-making to music to spoken word, will take place during the day in various areas of the museum. There will never be a dull moment while at the festival! A few highlights include:
- all day long with projects such as an art fort, community mosaic, power crown, and inspiration photo station
- musical adventures with performer Benjamin and his magic backpack, puppets, and eight-year-old collaborator Raymond
- scavenger hunt all over the Museum for special tokens hidden in the galleries
- share your hopes and dreams, and put them in a time capsule to be opened at a future festival
