Leslie T. writes: “On April 24th, artist, illustrator and author Bryan Collier treated many of our 4th grade students to a wonderful presentation of his life and work at the Brooklyn Public Central Library. Bryan captivated the audience with readings from some of his recent work which includes Dave the Potter, Rosa, and Knock Knock along with his very first published piece, Uptown, about growing up in Harlem.
“After the presentation, students toured an exhibit of Bryan’s work. The children, teachers and chaperones enjoyed seeing up close Bryan’s unique and vibrant style of blending watercolor and collage.”
