February 11-15, 2019 is Respect for All (RFA) Week in all NYC public schools. We invite all of our families to a Bullying Prevention Parent Workshop this Tuesday, February 12 at 8:15 AM in the school Library (Room 307).
Bullying can threaten students’ physical and emotional safety at school and can negatively impact their ability to learn. The best way to address bullying is to stop it before it starts. As parents and guardians it is important to understand the various faces of this concept, to discuss it with your children, to recognize the warning signs and last but not least to learn how to get help if ever needed.
Please join us and our guest David Hosten from the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, Bureau of School Health on Tuesday at 8:15 AM in the PS 217 Library to learn about, discuss and address any concerns that you might have on this topic.
