All students who will be entering kindergarten through third grade for the 2018-2019 school year can sign up to test for G&T programs. Get ready by taking these next steps:
- Read the 2018 Gifted & Talented Handbook to learn about G&T Admissions, find programs that interest you, and prepare for the G&T test with practice problems. If you have a child in Pre-K through Second Grade at PS 217 you will receive a 2018 Gifted & Talented Handbook in your child’s backpack. Additional handbooks and translated handbooks will be available in Room 109.
- Attend an Elementary Admissions Event in October. Events are scheduled all over the city. District 22 G&T and Elementary Admissions event is taking place on October 18th at S. 222 Katherine R. Snyder (3301 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY 11234)
- Mark your calendar: Plan to sign up to take the G&T test starting in early October. Deadline to submit a Request for Testing (RFT) Form is November 13th, 2017.
