District 22 Community Education Council  (CEC 22) Member Vacancies

District 22 CEC has member vacancies. Any parent with a child in Pre-K through 8th grade in District 22 is eligible to apply for one open council seat. Community Education Councils (CEC) work directly with the Superintendent, provide input to the Chancellor and to the Panel for Educational Policy (PEP) on district concerns, approve zoning lines, hold public hearings on capital needs, and so much more. A time commitment of 3 hours per month to attend CEC 22 meetings, plus some weekday hours for school visits are required. Reimbursements for travel and childcare expenses are available (max. $125/month).
