Did your child apply in Round 2 of High School Admissions? Get your results letter from your school counselor this week!

Here are some things you can do to get ready for the fall: Attend an orientation. Some schools will hold events to prepare new students for their high school experience. Look for an orientation on our events calendar. You can also contact your new school’s parent coordinator for more information.
Plan the commute. Use Trip Planner to find out how long it will take to get to school.
Learn about extracurricular activities. Decide which activities interest you.  Register for a summer bridge. Check if your school holds a summer program or summer activities to get students ready for high school. Questions? Visit High School Admissions, speak with your school counselor, or call 718-935-2399. If families decide to appeal their child’s high school offer, they must submit an appeal form to their school by May 19. Schools will only print appeal forms for students who request them.
