Saturday, December 16, 10 am – 1 pm Free Event at MS 890, The Healing Through Art Project. On Saturday, December 16th  M.S. 890 opened its doors and invites Ditmas I.S. 62, P.S. 217, P.S. 139, and P.S. 119 formed an art collaborative called “The Healing Through Art Project.” This touchstone event produces a dynamic opportunity for students to create art projects that foster and represent diversity & inclusion, and encourage the spirit of equity and benevolence.

December 22, 2017 Deadline to complete The Biennial Review Survey: The Biennial Review Survey (translated in all nine DOE covered languages) was emailed to all the members of  School Leadership Teams (SLT) on Monday November 27, 2017 and should be completed by Friday December 22, 2017. We encourage all members to complete the online survey and submit their responses. Access at home is challenging, so it is permissible for SLT members to use a school computer. Survey participants should evaluate their experience on the SLT across six required components pursuant to Commissioner’s Regulation 100.11.

Deadline to Apply for Kindergarten is January 12, 2018.

All New York City residents with children born in 2013 can apply to kindergarten until January 12, 2018 one of three ways: Online via our application site , By phone at 718-935-2009 , In person at a Family Welcome Center.
