On February 11, 2017 the PA will be hosting our annual Spring Festival in the school cafeteria between 1:00–3:30PM, prior to the school play.
As part of the Festival, every year we offer a Silent Auction to raise funds for PS 217 school productions and other enrichment programs. We are currently gathering donations for the auction from the community and local businesses. If you can help, please consider donating anything you think appropriate.
Some ideas include:
– Unopened/unused gifts in good condition: gift baskets, books, jewelry, gift cards, housewares, toys, etc.
– Handmade crafts: Are you a skilled knitter? Painter? Soap-maker? Why not create something nice for us to include in the auction?
– Goods/services: If someone you know is a professional or business owner and is willing to donate goods or services (and gain valuable exposure to the PS 217 community!) we will gladly accept this type of donation as well. For example, dental services, tax preparation, massage therapy, restaurant meals etc.
