We are exciting to announce that starting next school year, all of our Fifth Grade classes will be departmentalized. Yes, it will be like being a little bit in middle school, yet still in the comfortable and familiar elementary school setting. This city wide initiative has been embraced by the whole District 22 and we are excited to have it implemented as soon as school starts on September 5, 2019. In order to bring more light and offer more details on how the fifth graders will operate next year, we will have a Parent Information Session for our current Fourth Grade families sometime in June, date/time TBD. Keep an eye on PS 217 announcements as this is an info session you don’t want to miss!
