January School Trips

Did you know that during the month of January many of our first and second grade classes took trips to the museums? Brooklyn Museum and Wyckoff Farmhouse were among the most visited places. Whether exploring the old Dutch houses or immersing themselves in Colonial life, these were enriching experiences for children. If you were among the lucky chaperones and would wish to share your thoughts and your experience, please feel free to send your story to LDubovici@schools.nyc.gov. We want to hear from you!

Also encourage your children to share with you their museum experience. Further on, build on that with future family visits to the plethora of museums that NYC has to offer.

FREE Brooklyn Museum Saturdays: Every first Saturday of the month (except for September), the Brooklyn Museum hosts “Target First Saturdays” where admission to the museum is free from 5 pm to 11 pm. For more information about specific events and activities, please visit https://www.brooklynmuseum.org/visit/first_saturdays.
