We are looking forward to seeing you for P.S. 217’s annual Science Night, which will be held on Thursday, March 31st from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm in our Cafeteria. Pizza will be available for purchase, so don’t worry about dinner beforehand. This event provides us with a wonderful opportunity to engage children of all ages (siblings are welcome too!) in experiments, games and contests that help make their lessons leap off the page. We still need many more volunteers!
Here’s how you can help:
1. VOLUNTEER! This event takes many volunteers since everything is very “hands on.” No experience necessary, we can give you very detailed instructions as to how to run one of our pre-planned activities, or, you can suggest an activity and run it.
2. SAVE PLASTIC BOTTLE CAPS! We ran out of plastic bottle caps for our volcanoes last year. Please save them and bring them to Mara in Room 108.
