Do you have a skill, an interest or a talent that you would like to share with children at PS217? We have two programs coming up that provide the opportunity to volunteer once a week and make a big difference in the lives of our children. Magnet Masters Clubs will take place on Friday afternoons from 1:25 – 2:20 PM during the school day. Magnet After School classes will be on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons from 2:30 – 4:00 PM. Each after-school class takes place on one of these days weekly, so your commitment is only for just one of these days. If you have an interest, a hobby or a talent – e.g. art, music, dance, acting, sewing, knitting, movies, scrapbooking, sports, games, etc. – we can help you design a class that kids will learn from and enjoy. You can even pair up with a friend and lead a class together and will have a teacher working along with you.
