If you haven’t heard yet, P.S. 217’s 4th and 5th grade students and involved teachers are working very hard on the first play of 2016-2017 school year. Mark your calendar and be ready for a throw back in time experience with Mary and Waleed, the main characters of Decades – A Journey in Time.
Decades – A Journey in Time tells the story of two students, Mary and Waleed, both overwhelmed by their history report assignment that is due the following week. It’s not until Professor Labcoat crashes his time machine in the schoolyard of P.S. 217 that they receive some help. Mary and Waleed convince the professor to allow them to travel back in time with him in order to gather research about some historical figures. Who will they meet and will they make it back in time for their chorus performance?
