Middle school notification letters that provide families with admissions decisions were distributed to all our fifth-grade students. The deadline for families to appeal their child’s middle school placement is April 26.
IMPORTANT: Department of Education just announced that M.S. 907, a new arts themed middle school in District 19 is scheduled to open in the Fall of 2018. Interested students have the option of applying to the school’s unscreened arts program (K907U) and/or their Gifted and Talented composite score program (K907A) during the appeals round. Both programs are open to all 5th grade students and residents of Brooklyn. Students who are interested in applying to M.S. 907 should submit an appeals round application by the Thursday, April 26th deadline.
