NYC Schools Account

If you haven’t done it yet, come take advantage of this tool offered to NYC parents! Set up youNYC Schools Account in order to have access to your child’s recent test scores (Grade 4 and higher), attendance records, and grades in one of ten languages. NYC Schools is accessible from any internet-ready device, such as computer, phone or tablet. You must have an e-mail address in order to be able to open an account.

NYC Schools, https://mystudent.nyc/  is a website intended to provide you with access to key information about your child’s progress in school. Your NYC Schools Account does not replace your child’s official school records. Even if you open this account you will still receive a printed report card.

Each parent / legal guardian is entitled to open an account. If you have more than one child in the public school system (K-12) you can add all of them on the same account. Parents or guardians who created a NYC Schools Account prior to May 10, 2016 will need to confirm their email address by September 30, 2016 in order to continue to access their student’s data. Users who do not complete this step prior to September 30th will not be able to access their student’s data until they do so. Any user who created their NYCSA prior to May 10, 2016 will see a message asking the user to confirm their email. An email will be sent to the email address used as their NYCSA username. The email will contain a link that is valid for 24 hours after the initial email was sent. The user has the option to not validate their email address at the moment and continue onto the application; this will no longer be an option after September 30th.

If you did not create an account you will receive a letter with a unique Account Creation Code. Follow the instructions and open the account yourself. Otherwise, for support with opening your NYC Schools account, please contact Mara Dubovici in Room 109 / 718-434-6960 x 1091 /LDubovici@schools.nyc.gov.
