On Thursday, January 16, between 4:30 – 7:30 PM our school will open its doors for all our parents and guardians.
This is not the usual individual Parent-Teacher Conference type meeting. The classroom and cluster teachers will meet with parents as a group, will talk about the curriculum and will discuss further expectations for the rest of the year. Don’t miss this chance to touch base with your children’s teachers, staff members and visit the school at your own pace. Please be aware that report cards will NOT be distributed during this event. Whether you have one child or more children in PS 217, the 3 hour open school time will allow you ample time to visit as many teachers as possible. Translators will be available in the main office.
Please keep in mind that there will be NO AFTER SCHOOL programs in the school on January 16. That means, no Discovery Zone, no ENL After School, no FDC and no Kids Orbit. Please make proper arrangements for your children to be picked up promptly at 2:20 PM.
