Don’t let the cold weather interfere with your plans for fun quality family time outside your home! Through its museums and various cultural institutions, our vibrant city offers numerous opportunities for families to engage in activities that contribute to young children’s cognitive and language development while cultivating new audiences for the arts. Cool Culture can help your family create invaluable experiences not only for your little ones but for the entire family as well.

SAVE THE DATE:               Beat the Cool (Weather) with COOL Culture – Parent Workshop

Wednesday, January 17th @ 8:15 AM – PS 217 Library

Wednesday, January 17th @ 2:30 PM – PS 217 Library

Both workshops will cover the same topics. Refreshments will be available.

  • If you applied before October 20, your Cool Culture Family Pass is ready to be picked up from Room 109. ID is required in order to pick it up. Come pick up your family Pass during one of our workshops scheduled for Wednesday, January 17.
  • If you are already have a Family Pass, please come and share your experiences with other parents while learning more tips and tricks to make the museum trips memorable for everyone.
  • Is your Family Pass not printed yet? Did you forget to apply? It is not too late yet! Last day to submit an application for a Cool Culture Family Pass is Tuesday, January 23rd. Applications are available in Room 109. Come ask as well about the Loaner Passes and how can your family benefit from it.

 

As you are using your card, send us your Cool pictures from the places you visit with your family using this pass! Pictures can be sent to LDubovici@schools.nyc.gov. Keep track of your visits with pictures, drawings, tickets and feel free to share them with us. We would love to hear about your Cool Culture experience.
