As you will return to school in January, remember that PS 217 families are welcome every Tuesday afternoon between 2:30 – 3:30 PM. Come borrow children books for the whole family! We have books that can be read for pleasure or to support what they are learning about in class.
Children are expected to read at home to supplement classroom instruction. It is very important that you read to and with your child every day! Even talking about the pictures in a book (in any language) helps reinforce important reading skills.
Please note that all children must be accompanied by an adult.
