A puppetry hands on workshop for Pre-K, K and 1st Grade Families

On Tuesday, May 16 and on Tuesday, May 23 each day at 2:30 – 4:00 pm participants will be working with author / illustrator Angelo DeCesare, creator of the popular “Flip’s Journal” series. Over the course of two sessions, all participants will create a pop-up box based on one of the following themes: The World of Imagination, My Brooklyn Neighborhood or Flip Superheroes. Each pop-up box will feature a door that opens and closes to reveal a 3-D character and a blank journal booklet to create a story about the character. Participants will draw, color, cut, glue, fold, write and have lots of fun! Don’t miss this fun opportunity to engage with your child in a creative and educational activity.
