If your child was born in 2010 and you live in New York City, it is time to apply for kindergarten for the 2015-2016 school year. The application period is open now until February 13, 2015 and there are three ways to apply:
- Online at www.nyc.gov/schools/kindergarten
- Over the phone by calling 718-935-2400 (8 am-6 pm Monday-Friday)
- In person at an enrollment office (8 am-3 pm, Monday-Friday). For locations visit www.nyc.gov/schools/enrollmentoffices. All families, including those of students with disabilities and current pre-K students, should submit an application. Admission is not first come first served. All applications received by February 13 will be treated the same, according to admission priorities.
