STEM Matters NYC 2019 – Summer Camps in the City

Students entering Kindergarten through Grade 12 can now apply to science and STEM enrichment programs being offered this summer at the NYC Department of Education’s Genovesi Environmental Study Center, NYC Center for Aerospace and Applied Mathematics, The Bronx Zoo, Central Park Zoo, Cooper Hewitt, Smithonian Design Museum, Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, Museum of the City of New York, Makerspace NYC, New York Aquarium, New York Historical Society, Prospect Park Zoo, Queens Botanical Garden, Queens County Farm Museum, Queens Zoo, Staten Island Museum, Staten Island Zoo, SUNY Old Westbury and Wave Hill. Programs will feature multiple 1 and 2-week camps.

Application deadline is Friday, April 5, 2019.

Programs are open to all NYC public school students but families must apply and seats are limited. Families must provide lunch and transportation, however, there are MetroCards available. Details on all DOE’s STEM Summer in the City programs can be found on the department of Education website, www.schools.nyc.gov
