2020 NYC School Survey

It is again that time of the year when families, teachers and students in grades 6 – 12 take the NYC School Survey to share feedback about their schools. As one of the nation’s largest education surveys, this survey feedback can help improve your child’s learning environment. You can take this year’s survey between February 10th and March 31st, 2020. Your voice is important and we need every parent / guardian to fill out and return the survey. In 2019, 83 % of our parents / guardians returned their surveys and we would love to get between 95 – 100 % this year.

Families have now two ways to fill out the survey: on paper or online.

You will receive your NYC School Survey in a green envelope on March 5th, during our Parent Teacher Conferences.

The 2020 NYC School Survey is also available ONLINE in 10 languages at NYCShoolSurvey.org. Use the eight-digit survey access code at the bottom of your paper survey to login. If you do not have your survey materials, you can look up your survey access code on the survey login page or call 1-877-819-2363 for assistance. Once submitted, please print the confirmation page and return it to your child’s teacher.

Deadline to fill out and return the ONLINE survey is March 31, 2020. To ensure that all the surveys are processed in time, we strongly encourage you to fill out and return the PAPER surveys by Friday, March 27!

Your efforts of filling out the survey as soon as possible are highly appreciated and fully rewarded:

  • Each STUDENT who returns the survey or the confirmation page will receive ONE HOMEWORK PASS or ONE ICECREAM COUPON. With one completed survey per family, all siblings receive a reward! Additional prizes might be available as well! Keep tuned!

For more information or if you need support with completing the survey online, please contact our Parent Coordinator, Mara Dubovici (Room 109 / 718.434.6960×1/ LDubovici@schools.nyc.gov). School computers can be available for you to complete the survey.
