Update: Composition/Marble notebooks still needed!
Dear PS 217 Families,
As you shop for school supplies, please consider purchasing a few extra marble notebooks and pocket folders to donate to the “extra school supplies closet” that the parent coordinator keeps. Also, extra copy paper is ALWAYS welcome! Please put these supplies in a separate bag labeled: “For Extra School Supplies Closet.”
For some families, it’s especially difficult to purchase all that a child needs to put his or her best foot forward. Children can be embarrassed if they don’t have all their school supplies. The embarrassment can prevent them from fully participating in class.
Let’s help the teachers help their students. Please buy some extra supplies!
