On behalf of the entire PS 217 community, I wish to welcome back all our returning students and their families, and a special welcome to our new students and their families!
PS 217 is a wonderful place for your children to reach their fullest potential in all areas of learning, creativity and personal growth.
We are dedicated to building a safe, compassionate community of learners who are inspired to become respectful, responsible, cooperative, innovative and productive citizens. We remain committed to the arts and will continue to actively seek out ways to integrate the arts into the curriculum.
Your children receive the best education when you and our dedicated staff work as a team. It’s your support and involvement together with teachers’ instruction that create a rich learning environment.
There is lots of excitement ahead of us: plays, classroom celebrations, trips; new books and new friends. We invite you to take advantage of the many opportunities you will have to visit our school and be partners in your child’s education.
