PS 217 in partnership with NYU and Lutheran Medical is happy to announce that our very own School Based Dental Clinic is already up and running. Situated on the 5th floor, in room 521, the dental office has all the amenities to service our children and offer dental check-ups, oral hygiene instructions, cleanings, fluoride treatments, sealants and fillings and simple extractions.
The clinic is open a few days a month and for the month of February the dentist is seeing patients on Friday, 02/03 and Friday, 02/17. Hygiene treatments are done on Tuesday, 01/31 and Tuesday, 02/07.
In order for your child to benefit from these services you need to fill out the consent form available in English, Spanish and Chinese in the main office and in Room 109. After returning your form you will be contacted by the dental team and you will decide with them what services are appropriate for your child and whether or not you want to be present during the consultation.
