April 16 Gifted and Talented Application Deadline: Score reports are now available for students who took the G&T test. Your score report will come by mail and by email if you submitted your Request for Testing (RFT) online. The score report lets you know if your child can apply to G&T programs. Eligible families can apply online or in person at a Family Welcome Center by April 16.

 

 

April 23 7th Grade Families Middle School Arts Audition Boot Camp is a free, two-week arts program for New York City Department of Education public school students entering grade 8 in September 2018. The camp will run from July 30 – August 10, 2018. This intensive program is administered by the New York City Department of Education’s Office of Arts and Special Projects and will be held at Lincoln Center Education, Manhattan. The camp’s goal is to provide equity and access in preparation for screened DOE high school arts schools/programs for Middle School students currently enrolled in a Title I school, entering 8th grade in September, 2018 and who are interested in auditioning for screened High School arts programs. This is an intensive ten-session, half-day program for up to 350 students. Admission is by online application and audition. Students may apply and audition for only ONE studio. The online application can be

Summer in the City Summer Academy: Summer in the City’s Summer Academy programs offer free, full-day summer programing with hands-on STEM activities, enriching reading and math curriculum, and visits to museums, parks, and other cultural sites. Students participating in Summer in the City programs will also receive free, healthy breakfast and lunch.
