Thanks to a partnership among the United Federation of Teachers (UFT), the American Federation of Teachers (AFT), and First Book (www.firstbook.org), a FREE book distribution will take place on Saturday, June 4 between 8AM-1PM at Abraham Lincoln High School (2800 Ocean Parkway).
Books for all ages, from birth to age 18 will available on a first come, first served basis, so plan to arrive early! To benefit from this, you must be registered with First Book:
- Fill out the form “First Book Registration Form” sent to you in your child’s backpack
- Return the form to P.S. 217 by Wednesday, May 25
Each parent (1 per household) will be able to select 15 books to take home (as long as books last). Please bring your own boxes, baskets or bags for your books.
