Labeling
We ask you to please label all your child’s belongings with their name and classroom number. Folders, notebooks, book bags, pencil cases, reading glass cases, reading glasses (if possible), clothing items that they can take off during the day: hats, gloves, coats, sweaters… Every year we find an amazing amount of items that never find their way back to the rightful owners.
Name/class/phone#
It is very helpful to have the child’s name, classroom number, your telephone number written down in a folder or notebook in the child’s back pack – at all times. At the beginning of the year the little ones are often too shy to talk and do not remember any names or numbers.
