Do you have a skill, interest or talent that you would like to share with children at PS 217? We have two programs coming up that provide the opportunity to volunteer once a week and make a big difference in the lives of children. Magnet Masters clubs will take place on Friday afternoons from 1:25 – 2:20 pm during the school day. Magnet After-School classes will be on Wednesday, Thursday and
Friday afternoons from 2:30 – 4:00 pm.
Each after-school class takes place on one of these days weekly. If you have an interest, hobby or talent—e.g. art, music, dance, acting, sewing, knitting, movies, scrapbooking, sports, games, etc.—we can help you design a club that kids will learn from and enjoy. You can even pair up with a friend and lead a class together, and you will have a teacher working along with you.
