P.S. 217’s Annual Garden Concerts had their superb debut on May 10 with a special celebration and a spectacular outdoor interactive performance by Mexico Beyond Mariachi, an exciting and entertaining Mexican band who sparked everyone’s imagination and took the audience on a short trip through Mexico’s history and culture.
Right before the concert, at 4PM, the garden was filled with almost 200 adults and children who enjoyed entertaining Cinco de Mayo inspired crafts, sampled delicious Mexican themed food, and had a wonderful time celebrating together Cinco de Mayo.
Our next concert, on May 17 will feature Aziz Peerzada and son. Come experience exciting musical styles, including Ghazal, Pakistani Folk, Semi-classical and Sufi.
